Sneak Peak into one of our recent bathroom remodels-
The Holman Project
Scheming and progressing….
Can you believe how quickly this summer has flown by? Just the mere thought that we are nearing the end of August makes me so sad as I type this.
I guess time flies when you’re having fun! We’ve been busy this summer working on a few bathroom remodels and we wanted to take you behind the scenes and give you a look at what we’ve been up to and the process behind the design.
The project I am sharing today is one of 3 bathrooms we’re updating for this client. This post is all about the Master Bathroom. The concept for this design is European Modern. The clients love to travel throughout Europe and have a love for shiny chrome, white marble, clean lines, and a flair for minimalism.
Prior to working with them, they had already purchased a few of the fixtures including the shower tower and heated towel rack, which were great inspiration to work off of for their initial concept board (shown below).
We want to add some drama and warmth with natural wood accents and greenery for a spa-like feel. One of the 2 schemes we will be presenting to them adds a pop of soft blue and green within the tile accent in the shower.
Here are a few shots to show you where we started…
Sorry for the poor photos and my photo-bomb- this was a tight space and hard to get an overall on my phone.
And here’s a little preview of where the design is going…
The clients have a love for white marble and really want the marble look layered throughout the whole bathroom. So, we have chosen coordinating marble tiles for the floor, the shower walls, and the counter top.
They are going to have a 48×48 glass shower enclosure with a hidden niche. Bright white cabinets with lots of storage in the added linen tower for even more storage.
As of now, these drawings are still rough as we work through the design with the clients. However, we should be presenting to them in the next few weeks. Keep an eye out for more updates and progress!
