Nicole Jocelyn Interiors was created as a side hustle with a few brave clients, no real office space, and lots of hand sketching.
After graduating from design school, designers and co-workers Brittany & Caryn found themselves working long hours, weekend shifts, and tiring days on their feet in a retail furniture showroom. Day in and day out they were helping clients design and decorate their homes one room at a time. Limited to the surroundings of a showroom they knew they could be doing so much more.
After many days and nights spent holed up in various Starbucks, Caryn & Brittany collaborated on a business model and took a leap of faith. They decided to take their educations and experience in residential design and turn it into something more.
Meet the owners…
Hi there, I’m Caryn!
I create designs for busy people who want their homes to look like a magazine… without sacrificing function!
Born and raised in Massachusetts, my surroundings have inspired a unique design style. It’s a little bit nautical, is rooted in the beauty of traditional architecture, and mixed with classic, contemporary furnishings.
I hate matchy-matchy. Instead, I love to show my clients how to coordinate and mix different design styles to create their own story. Your home should be a direct reflection of what you love and who you are.
I graduated from Endicott College with a bachelor of science in Interior Design. Before starting my own business, I previously managed a retail furniture showroom where I gained over 5 years experience working one on one with clients.
Currently, I live on the north shore with my husband Spiros and our Bernedoodle, Kyle. A few of my favorites are: being outdoors, baking, reading on the beach, photography, and hiking the trails near our home.
When I’m not designing you can usually find me relaxing with a glass of red wine, listening to country music, and indulging in something chocolate (topped with peanut butter, yum).
I’m Brittany!
Since I can remember, I’ve had a passion for creativity and design. I’m slightly obsessed with space planning and arranging furniture to give rooms a new look. As a child, I must have rearranged my room at least once a week (driving my parents crazy)!
I was born and raised in a small town in Upstate, New York (the Adirondacks). In 2011 I moved to Boston to pursue my design degree. In 2013, I graduated from Newbury College with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. After college, I began working in a retail furniture showroom, where I met Caryn.
I draw a lot of my inspiration from nature. I enjoy creating spaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. I believe that everyone can achieve that magazine worthy home they’ve dreamt of regardless of their budget. I love a good challenge!
Aside from design, I love anything outdoors, traveling, reading, and baking (especially cookies, my weakness). I also really enjoy fitness and I’m always trying out new Beachbody programs. Right now, I’m obsessed with “22 Minute Hard Corps”.
When not working, I enjoy spending time with my Husband Eddie and fur baby, Cooper, or you can find me pursuing my love of travel by planning my next adventure!
